Research

My research interests lie in Algebra and Number Theory. Currently, I am studying computational questions related to finite extensions of the p-adic numbers and the Galois theory associated to these extensions. One obvious motivation for studying such objects comes from a theorem in Algebraic Number Theory that ensures, for a given degree d and a specified prime number p, there are only finitely many extensions of the p-adic numbers of degree d (up to isomorphism).
