Visit to NAU

This visit involved meeting with some of the NAU math faculty along with 1-2 of the grad students. There is no PhD. Program for math at NAU, and (if memory serves) there was only 8 grad students in the dept. Students are thrown into teaching their first semester. They do have a program to invite undergrad students from other schools to come and do research with the faculty there, funded by NSF.
